We hand pierce the silver using a jewellery saw and then file the silver to get the heart shape. The silver is then imprinted with your loved one’s ashes or hair. This leaves a beautiful pattern on the silver that acts as an eternal memory. The next stage is to assemble the crystal onto the heart and attach the bail. The piece is finally finished by buffing it with six different grades of emery paper. It is then put in a barrel polisher for several hours to give the pendant it’s mirror shine finish. Each piece of Ashes Memorial Jewellery is stamped with the 925 mark. Your commemorative pendant comes presented in an elegant printed gift box.
Your memorial pendant will measure approximately 10mm in diameter. The crystal is approximately 12mm in length and 10mm wide. The pendant comes on a 16″,18″ or 20″ chain. This beautiful pendant can also be personalised by engraving names and dates on the back. Please use the drop down menu to select your crystal colour and engraving option.
Your loved one’s ashes or hair are always handled with great care and respect. Each piece of jewellery is handcrafted in our specialist workshop. Your finished piece of jewellery will be sent to you with a commemorative certificate stating it’s creation date. We will return any unused ashes or hair to you with your jewellery. Please allow us between 4-6 weeks to handcraft your special jewellery before dispatching.
