Description
* Please note that owing to the varied colour of cremation ashes, your resin gem jewellery maybe darker than the images shown. The ashes used in the item shown were very white. No two gems ever come out the same. Most ashes are a mix of brown, black and grey. Darker and finer ashes will inevitably make the gem not as bright and vibrant as the images shown.*
Your loved one’s ashes or hair are always handled with great care and respect. Each piece of jewellery is handcrafted in our specialist workshop. Your finished piece of jewellery will be sent to you with a commemorative certificate stating it’s creation date. We also return any unused ashes or hair to you with your jewellery. We require one tablespoon of your loved one’s ashes or a small lock of hair. Please allow us between 4-6 weeks to handcraft your special jewellery before dispatching.
To keep your jewellery looking beautiful we recommend that you polish your pendant with a soft jewellery cloth. We also advise not to sleep, shower or swim in your pendant to prevent damage.
Caring for your resin jewellery:
Remove your resin jewellery when applying lotion, perfume, hairspray or other beauty products, and when cleaning with chemicals.
Remove when showering or swimming and washing hands (if wearing a resin inlaid ring)
Do not allow your resin jewellery to become extremely cold or hot. For example, don’t leave it in a car on a hot day. If it does become extremely hot, it will become malleable – just allow to cool to room temperature before handling excessively. Do not store in direct sun.
Resin can be cleaned with a mild soap and water. The best way to restore resin’s shine is to use a plastic polish.
