You can either order online using a credit/debit card, or you can select the buy now and pay later option at the checkout. If you prefer you can order via the telephone on 01283 260245. We cannot, however, do financing options over the phone, this can only be done via our online checkout.
FAQ for Memorial Ashes Jewellery
At the checkout you need to select the payment button that says Klarna. You can select to pay for your item in 30 days or over three interest-free monthly payments.
We only need one teaspoon of ashes or a small lock of hair per item we craft. Any unused ashes or hair will be posted back to you with your special jewellery.
No, after the order is placed, we will automatically post you out a pack first class. The order pack will have a unique reference number on it that relates to your order number. The pack will contain a zip-seal bag for you to send your loved one’s ashes or hair to us. There will also be a tear proof bag provided with our workshop address on. If you have ordered a ring, we will send you a ring sizer. Please post the ashes or hair to us using Royal Mail signed for delivery.
Once we have received your loved one’s ashes or hair and booked them into our system, one of our office team will email you to let you know they have arrived with us safely.
Ashes Memorial Jewellery is one of the largest memorial jewellery specialists in the UK. Your loved one’s ashes are always in safe hands. Our highly skilled jewellers only ever work with one set of ashes at a time, and our workshop is thoroughly cleaned after each piece of treasured jewellery that we craft. You will receive a commemorative card stating the date of when your special piece was created and the signature of the jeweller who crafted it for you. Every set of ashes we receive are booked into the system, barcode scanned and carefully placed into a specialist workshop sealed bag with your loved one’s ashes, order sheet and any specialist notes.
Once your order is complete, we will post your special jewellery out to you via Royal Mail special delivery. This service is tracked, insured and guaranteed by 1pm the following day from when we send it (excluding Saturday).
All you need to do is select ring size unknown on the drop-down option, and we will send you a ring sizer in your order pack.
With standard engraving you can select your font type from our drop-down options. Handwriting engraving is when we take an exact copy of your loved one’s handwriting off an old Christmas card, letter etc. You can upload a clear photo of your chosen text with your order. Ideally, we would rather you posted the original to us as we can scan the writing using our detailed scanner. This will ensure the engraving is much sharper and better quality. The original text will be posted back to you with your special jewellery.
This depends on what item you have ordered. Our silver and gold imprinted jewellery can be worn all the time, including in water and with chemicals. Our imprinted jewellery is ideal for people that don’t want to take their treasured pieces off. If you have selected a resin piece, we advise you not to wear it in water. We also advise you take your resin jewellery off when spraying perfume, using hand cream or using household chemicals as both water and chemicals can cause your resin gem to go dull and become loose in its setting. We will send you a resin care card out with your special jewellery to help you care for your treasured piece.
All our jewellery comes with a 12-month manufacturing guarantee. The warranty, however, will not be valid if on return the item has been defected by hard wear and tear and if resin jewellery has been exposed to water and chemicals (We chemical test any returned resin jewellery). Necklace chains are only guaranteed for three months owing to wear and tear.
We can gladly still repair your jewellery if it out of warranty or the warranty is void. Our team will advise you on the repair price.

Julia offers appointments to come and visit the workshop to see some our wonderful jewellery collections on Tuesday mornings. Appointments are strictly via appointment only. Please call us on 01283 260245 and we will be delighted to assist you and book you in to see us. Please note that we don’t have all the jewellery collection on display in the workshop and the full collection can be viewed and ordered online. Space is limited in the workshop so we cannot accommodate more than a party of four during your appointment.
Our workshop is up a flight of stairs and owing to our insurance and nature of the hazardous equipment within our workshop we are unable accommodate anyone under 14 years of age. We also ask that you view the full collection online before your visit. On the day of your appointment please bring the ashes /hair with you. On booking your appointment a £40 credit/debit card deposit will be taken. When you place your treasured jewellery order on the day of your workshop appointment your deposit will be deducted from the total price. Please note that online discounts are not valid when ordering via a workshop visit or if orders are then placed after your workshop visit date via the telephone.

We cannot offer this service owning to the length of time each item takes to craft. Each item can take several days to complete. Our team work with flames, chemicals, and use hazardous equipment so our public liability/health and safety insurance would not allow you stay in the workshop. However, on your showroom visit you are more than welcome to view our specialist workshop and see where your treasured jewellery will be crafted.
